Large 834 Parsing and Unbundling (75MB+)

I am attempting to use the X12 parser to convert 834,820 and 999 documents to JSON so I can store them in a PostgreSQL database. This library meets all my needs until I begin to encounter very large files. I am able to convert a large file to JSON (while it is slow) but unfortunately the resulting file size is just over 256MB which is the size limit for a PostgreSQL JSONB column. I then tried to unbundle the 834 file by loop id which caused my application to hang indefinitely. I believe I let it run for 10 minutes. Based on our requirements, I think unbundling is the only viable solution.

Does anyone have any tips/suggestions on how to handle large files? I should note that these files come to us daily and they are perpetually increasing in size.

Try to unbundle by the transaction set (ST) instead of the loop ID. This won't create quite as many unbundled files.
